A Weekend of Family Sessions

Autumn is the busiest time of the year for family sessions. The cool crisp air, the lack of bugs, the beautiful colours…. everything is just perfect. This weekend was no exception, other than it was HOT!  Everyone was wonderful though and wore their best fall clothing in spite of the heat.

A few months back I had the cutest milk bath session with a sweet little puppy named Lou. See here:

Well, Lou invited me out to Jackson Park to meet the rest of his family and it was amazing. He even brought the cat! This day just melted my heart!

On Sunday I drove to The Montrose Inn in Belleville to meet up with 5 generations. I met Diane at a wedding I photographed back in July and I am so happy she invited me to meet her family.

The Montrose Inn was so beautiful! The house is over 100 years old and the property is surrounded by gardens and beautiful landscaping. They have the remnants of an old barn, “The Ruins” that they are fixing up to host weddings and it is just stunning.  We moved around the property throughout the session and I am thrilled with the results.

Thank you to both of these amazing families for inviting me into your lives!
