If you haven’t already seen Rachel and Andres’ engagement pictures, you should totally check them out. They set up their wedding day so perfectly. The love they share is so clear when you are in their presence. Everything about them is just radiant, and their wedding day was no exception. On 08-18-18 Rachel and Andres began the next chapter of their lives and I am so honoured to have been a small part of it.
Their wedding took place at a family home where everything from the grass, to the decorations, to the weather was just perfect. The day before the wedding it has been raining all day so there were still a lot of last minute outdoor preparations to do. I suppose the best advantage to having a big wedding party is that it took no time at all for everyone to pull together and set everything up.
If anyone was nervous, it really didn’t show. Everyone as having a great time surrounded by their family and closest friends.
The guests had begun to arrive outside, the giggles downstairs became more frequent and the laughs upstairs became more boisterous. I was so thrilled to be able to be behind the scenes, going everywhere and seeing everything unfold from an outsider’s perspective. It felt as though I didn’t have any responsibility, I just go to enjoy everything from the best way that I know how, behind my camera. I could not wait for Andres to see Rachel and how absolutely beautiful she looked.
The Ceremony was the perfect combination of love for each other, love for God and love for family. Their values in life and marriage shone through.
With such a large wedding party and an intimate group of family and friends, there were lots of formal photographs, so I will pick just a few of my favourites to share. This was such an amazing group of people! Everyone was easy going and photogenic.
Dinner was delicious and the speeches were heart felt. I will leave you tonight with a couple of my favourite images from the end of dinner/ the beginning of the “party.”
Congratulations again Rachel and Andres! I am so happy for you both!
